Angela Jursevics

Angela Jursevics is a Sydney based multimedia artist working mainly in print making (relief), sculpture (small and larger installations) and photography.

Her work is shaped by both the personal and political. She presents positive pieces that encourage the mundane and familiar to be seen in a new light and encourages the viewer to read more carefully the stories behind the everyday. Angela’s work is often whimsical with elements of surprise, irony and humour.

Angela has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, has a number of works in private and corporate collections, and has been a finalist in many exhibitions including Sculpture at Scenic World (and Sculpture Otherwise) (2021), Sculpture@Shaw (2022), Art on the Greenway (2019) and  Inkfest (2021). She was a prize winner at BentART (2022) and the Greenway Art Prize (2021, 2022).
