Margaret Fegent is inspired to share with others through her art her passion for travelling and love of nature, especially around Sydney Harbour.

Her detailed art reflects the places she visits ranging from the spectacular glaciers of Alaska to outback Australia but mostly the beautiful sights around Sydney Harbour and her neighbourhood. Her art covers a large variety of scenes from boats in Sydney Harbour, Sydney beaches, bays and parks, birds, trees and flowers, city terraces and skylines as well as portraits.

She interprets her world through watercolours, pen, pastel, charcoal and pencils.

Her pastel drawing of boats in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race was highly commended by Ben Quilty at the 2023 Mosman Rowers Art Exhibition.
